520 ▼a Working alliance (WA) is an important part of the rehabilitation counseling process, and yet there has been little research regarding predictors of WA. Given that strong WA facilitates successful outcomes in rehabilitation counseling, rehabilitation counselors need to better understand predictors of the development of WA. Client factors have been widely researched in the counseling and psychotherapy literature as predictors of WA. This study used the interpersonal circumplex (Wiggins, 1979) along with the tripartite efficacy beliefs model (Lent & Lopez, 2002) to better understand the relationship between client factors and WA in vocational rehabilitation counseling. The purpose of the study was to examine a.) to what extent demographic covariates, interpersonal factors, and the tripartite efficacy beliefs model predict WA
