| 요약 | The following project was created as a companion to the record Cinderland. Cinderland was made over the course of two weeks in residence at the Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts in Saratoga, Wyoming, in 2016. The music on the album was inspired partially by die Winterreise by Franz Schubert and was composed and recorded on site by myself in collaboration with Scott Morgan, a Canadian producer and recording artist with a discography that spans nearly twenty years under the project name Loscil. Scott and I were roommates together at The Banff Centre in the fall of 2014 while there for independent residencies. We became good friends and have continued to work together ever since under the project name High Plains. In March of 2017, High Plains released Cinderland on the Portland, Oregon, based record label Kranky. |
