| 요약 | This thesis work contains four separate portions: Chapter 1 is the total synthesis of berkelyone A. Chapter 2 is the palladium catalyzed dehydrogenation of esters with free O-H and N-H functionalities. Chapter 3 is the nickel catalyzed alkenylation and dehydorgenation of carbonyl compounds. Chapter 4 is mechanistic studies of the palladium catalyzed dehydrogenation of amides with the lithium anilide base LiCyan. |
